Audi TT MK2 TechRace

An Audi TT Mk2 sharpens its silhouette with pixel strikes and acid-green accents: classic endurance livery meets lab-grade glitch aesthetics, transforming Ingolstadt’s coupé into a futuristic prototype that challenges the night to reflect every luminous fragment.

Context & Signature Edge

TechRace pays homage to Audi Sport’s pedigree with a hi-tech twist: carbon-grid graphics, fractured checkered stripes, and lime fluo lines pulsing under any light. Its “Future Meets Past” payoff frames 30 m² of gloss vinyl where DTM heritage and digital aesthetics coexist, projecting the TT into a temporal space where motorsport’s history meets tomorrow’s design language.

Behind the Curtain

The brief called for a livery evoking Audi’s iconic silver while speaking the language of modern racing simulators. FRD answered by blending modular geometries, competition number 27, and oversized logotypes, maintaining perfect balance between Teutonic elegance and neon audacity.

Quick vector drafts in Illustrator established the base layout, while carbon-maze textures were built in Photoshop and mapped in Blender 3D to guarantee seamless flow across bulbous fenders and the oversized wing. Envidioso Custom Garage printed the high-gloss vinyl, aligned each layer with millimetre precision, and sealed the fluo green highlights with UV-protect laminate that makes them glow like pit-lane signals.

At its local premiere, TT TechRace boosted Envidioso’s social interactions by +240 %, captured the attention of German racing blogs, and secured track-day event invites. In person, its pattern shifts under natural light and indoor neon, forcing viewers into a second look that transforms curiosity into real conversation about the brand.

More than livery – it’s a future-past fusion

TechRace transforms Audi’s racing heritage into tomorrow’s digital icon, built to turn every glance into lasting brand connection.
