BMW M4 LW GR8 Magazine
A BMW M4 Liberty Walk storms onto the scene wearing a yellow-black racing apocalypse: sponsor decals scattered like shrapnel, overlapping race numbers, and digital slashes screaming raw power. More than a car, it’s a rolling manifesto signed by GR8 Magazine, built to steal every glance wherever it stops.
Context & Signature Edge
Dubbed the GR8 Showstopper, this wide-body M4 became the official flagship of GR8 Magazine and the GR8 ICS show. FRD created a “raw racing” graphic—warning yellow clashing with asphalt black—to amplify the Liberty Walk kit’s aggression, turning the car into a dynamic roll-up banner. It’s a one-off piece blending motorsport aesthetics, street culture, and instant social dominance.

Behind the Curtain
1. Key Players
GR8 wanted an icon to showcase and race across their channels: no compromise, only absolute visual presence. FRD responded with a concept that speaks fluent paddock language, but cranks the graphic volume to maximum, ready to dominate both stands and social feeds.
2. Craft Process
Initial vector sketches were built in Illustrator, layered with grunge textures in Photoshop, then tested under multiple lighting environments in Blender 3D to ensure aggressive chromatic flow across every Liberty Walk curve. The master file was printed and installed by Wrap My Ride with millimetre-perfect precision, sealing the yellow-black mix under a deep gloss finish worthy of any showcar hall.
3. Impact (On the Road, Events, Media)
Debuting at GR8 ICS 2022 in Belgium, the M4 drew crowds of visitors, monopolised social coverage of the event, and spiked interactions by +280 % across GR8’s channels within 48 hours. A tangible demonstration that an extreme design doesn’t just decorate a booth—it transforms it into a permanent attention magnet.
More than a livery – it’s pure dominance
GR8 Showstopper turns racing aggression into art, proving bold design is the fastest route to unforgettable brand impact.
