Cupra Born Swerts Dirty Performance

A Cupra Born electric car breaks the urban calm with blue-gold lightning bolts and cracked post-industrial textures: the Swerts logo sprawls across its sides like a giant graffiti tag, turning every daily work run into an underground paddock runway.

Context & Signature Edge

Swerts Dirty Performance answered a clear need: to transform the company car from simple workhorse to brand manifesto for Swerts Wrapping & Tinting. Its livery blends blue-gold gradients inspired by metal oxidation with digital cracks suggesting racing wear and tear. The result is a disruptive contrast between the hi-tech purity of the Born EV and a raw aesthetic that stands out equally in corporate car parks and late-night car meets.

Behind the Curtain

Swerts wanted a vehicle that spoke the language of extreme wraps while remaining credible as a daily driver. FRD translated the brief into a concept merging street art, Touring Car heritage, and corporate palette—keeping Cupra’s razor-sharp design language intact.

Vector drafts in Illustrator laid out the base composition; cracked textures were sculpted in Photoshop with displacement maps for depth. Blender 3D tests ensured precise alignment across fenders and doors. The master file was printed on satin vinyl and installed by the Swerts team with millimetre-perfect joins, using gold foil accents to create reflective highlights.

Since joining the fleet, the Born has driven a +40 % increase in direct DMs to Swerts and draws customers who stop to photograph it outside the workshop. On city streets, its gritty grain contrasts against clean commercial architecture, pulling every glance toward the brand and its artisanal expertise.

More than a company car – it’s urban art in motion

Swerts Dirty Performance transforms everyday errands into rolling showcases of bold branding and street-ready craftsmanship.
