Designed for a motorsport enthusiast with a taste for high-impact aesthetics, Hextrike GTI merges racing sharpness with a digital-era edge. Inspired by esports liveries and motorsport decals, its hexagonal skin and contrasting geometry create an ultra-modern identity that elevates the car from daily driver to motorsport persona.

Behind the Curtain
1. Key Players
This project was commissioned by a private client immersed in the racing world, who wanted a livery that could echo both arcade thrill and real-track aggression. Frank Ricci Design took the lead in crafting an identity that could stand proudly in paddocks, parking lots, or even digital showrooms.
2. Craft Process
Starting with the red, white, and black GTI core, we designed a wrap using interlocking geometric panels and aggressive lightning-like slashes. A hexagonal tile pattern added depth and continuity across all panels, including the roof and rear hatch. The GTI logo was reimagined with a blocky, pixel-punched look—part racing number, part retro callback. The full design was mapped in 3D for precision wrapping, with every angle tested for balance and visual strike.
3. Impact (On the Road, Events, Media)
The result is a Polo that looks track-ready even when standing still. It turns heads at meets, gets phones out at every red light, and adds visual power to any team or garage it belongs to. The GTI badge becomes more than a trim—it’s a call sign for speed and style.
