The owner dreamed of an automotive poster for his memories: Base Set cards, Game Boy nights, and gym battles. FRD took up the challenge, translating that nostalgia into a livery that retains the RS’s aggressive presence while inviting everyone who sees it to “press Start.”
2. Craft Process
Characters and backgrounds were first sketched by hand, then vectorised in Illustrator, composed in Photoshop, and verified in Blender to flow seamlessly across every panel curve. The artwork was divided into over 1,000 puzzle pieces with varying thicknesses—some locked in, others intentionally “floating” to simulate work-in-progress assembly. WrapMyRide.nu applied each tile with millimetre precision, finishing with a clear gloss coat that amplifies the tactile, raised effect.

At launch, Megamon M4 RS spiked WMR’s social interactions by +300 %, graced tuning magazine covers, and sparked Europe’s first “puzzle wrap” trend.
