Tay-kart Deluxe

A Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo blazes across the asphalt wrapped like a living arcade: ultra-gloss finish, neon colour bursts, and Mario Kart vibes that turn every straight line into Rainbow Road and every glance into a power-up of pure wonder.

Context & Signature Edge

Commissioned as the personal flagship of WrapMyRide’s founder, Tay-kart Deluxe transforms the electric Porsche into a one-off tribute to Mario Kart—crafted with over 30 m² of high-gloss vinyl, hand-illustrated and plotted to perfection. It fuses pop culture, racing nostalgia, and hyper-modern sustainability into a moving spectacle.

Both showpiece and statement, Tay-kart is the visual icon of the WMR team, built to dominate paddocks, content feeds and casual sightings with the same unstoppable energy.

Behind the Curtain

WrapMyRide needed a show car that would be more than promotional—a flagship that speaks before the engine even starts. FRD brought the Mario Kart universe to life with a wrap that balances wild graphics and Porsche elegance. This is not just a livery—it’s a living brand extension.

Each power-up, character, and racetrack was first sketched by hand, then digitised in Illustrator, composed in Photoshop, and mapped in Blender to follow the Taycan’s sleek surfaces with precision. Printed on ultra-gloss vinyl, the full wrap was installed by the WMR team with mirror-perfect alignment, transforming the black base into a cartoonish, candy-bright celebration of motion.

Wherever it rolls, Tay-kart turns streets into stages. It boosted WMR’s social engagement by over 250%, headlined multiple wrap-focused magazines, and quickly earned “legendary livery” status in the European wrapping scene. Loved by gamers, admired by tuners—Tay-kart proves that bold design plus flawless execution can turn nostalgia into unstoppable brand power.

More than Mario Kart on wheels

TayKart Deluxe redefines what a showcar can be—pure nostalgia, electric elegance, and game-ready impact that keeps fans chasing for another look.
