The First FRD Giveaway
A Bold Experiment in Custom Wrap Design
📍 What Happened?
Frank Ricci Design launched its first-ever social media Giveaway, offering three levels of custom wrap graphics to three lucky vehicle owners. More than just a marketing stunt, this was a real-life test of what happens when community, design and ambition collide.
The Giveaway opened on June 28, 2025 and closed on July 12, 2025, with winners announced on July 16 via Instagram and email. Over 30 unique submissions came in from all over Europe—each one telling a different story, each car with its own voice.
🎯 Why Launch a Giveaway?
This wasn’t about “giving away for free.” It was about giving something back:
- To a growing community that follows, comments and dreams big.
- To talented car lovers and builders without the budget for custom design.
- To test the waters for future open collaborations with wrappers and creatives.
It was also a branding move. A way to demonstrate, once and for all, what makes an FRD design different from generic visuals.
🧠How Did It Work?
Participants had to:
- Follow @frankriccidesign on Instagram
- Like the Giveaway post
- Tag two friends
- Fill out a short form with info about their car, their ideas, and their goals
Every application was reviewed manually. This wasn’t a random draw. It was a curated selection based on context, concept potential, and visual synergy—especially for the full custom (T1) design.
🏆 What Were the Prizes?
Three design levels were offered:
- T1 – Full Custom: one-of-a-kind concept created from scratch (1 winner)
- T2 – Semi Custom: a hybrid of a pre-built idea and tailored details (1 winner)
- T3 – Open Edition: a ready-to-go graphic from the FRD catalog (1 winner)
Each prize included exclusive access to the FRD design process and direct collaboration on the final result.
